Surprisingly, WB have cancelled the nearly-finished Batgirl movie.
Joker is not a bad movie, nor is it unworthy of your attention. But it is not the work of genius that it so desperately wishes it were.
Yes, it’s fun… but in a smug, arch way that prevents it from being anywhere near as much fun as it clearly thinks it is.
