This item features one of the most extraordinary finds in the history of comics: a letter from H.G. Peter to William Moulton Marston featuring character sketches for the proposed Wonder Woman, and discussion of her costume. Short of similar pieces showing up between Siegel and Shuster, this might be the most notable item of correspondence in comic book history. I was surprised the selling price was only just over $33,000 – I know that’s a lot of money for a letter, but as comics memorabilia goes, this is an exceptional item.
