Marvel, all the Agents all the time

Good news from Marvel’s TV operations.
Good news for fans of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. – it’s been picked up for a second season. Though, quite what they’ll call it now that SHIELD no longer exists in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, I don’t know. We’ll be doing a full review once the first season is over, but the last few episodes of this have been really involving, and a new series is great.
Also, we will be getting a full series of Agent Carter. This began as a one-shot on the Iron Man 3 DVD – and it’s the best of the one-shots, showing Hayley Attwell’s character from Captain America: The First Avenger being a kick-ass agent after the war, and being invited to join SHIELD at the start. Of course, when watching the show, we’ll now be thinking that it was already infiltrated by HYDRA at a very early stage, even if the show doesn’t directly address that. Still, it’s a great idea, and I’m looking forward to this. And if a solo female character can hold down her own tv show, Black Widow movie, please?
(Also, so much better than DC, who are doing More Shows About Blokes.)
