A Tip of the Hat I Never Wear to Aldo Alvarez, who drew this to my attention… In 1940’s All-American Comics 20, Al Pratt throws on his Atom costume for the first time – and nearly misses! You can imagine Al’s thought processes; “Yes, criminals are a superstitious, cowardly lot… but on the other hand, I’m a 4′ 10″ ginger, so I’ll just bedazzle them with my shiny white buttocks instead!”
