Boundary issues, Private Strong! Boundary Issues!

Lancelot Strong, the Shield, gets a bit over-familiar with a villain in issue two (and last!) of Archie’s 1959 series, The Double Life Of Private Strong – a Simon & Kirby “Classic”!
(And no, the villain’s name wasn’t “Duck”, or “Duc”, or anything of that ilk – the creators seem simply to have misguidedly used “ducky” as a synonym for “pal” or “buddy” – which, given that the common use of “ducky” as a salutation between or towards men perceived as effeminate at least pre-dates WWII, makes you wonder what S & K were trying to say about the character in this “kids’ comic” …)
