This just doesn’t cut it for me. There’s nothing intrinsically wrong with the writing, it’s well thought out and the dialogue is okay, but it doesn’t blow me away. The whole ‘other-dimensional shtick’ has been done a million times before and needs to be a hundred times better to grab my attention.

Starborn 1

So Stan the Man is still trying to re-create Marvel of the early sixties. Why? All I can think of is that he has been treated as badly as he has treated other creators (mostly Kirby) over the decades and he’s trying to set up a financial legacy.

Power Girl 18

I’ve just sat down and read Power Girl 18 and I thank God that I’ve been following the JLA/JSA titles as well, because if I hadn’t I wouldn’t have understood the deeper story here.
